During 2019, TLA hired Freshwater Solutions to conduct three Comprehensive Assessments, plus our Summer Interns in 2019 used a new DNA-based methodology to detect the swimmer’s itch parasite in water samples.  The assembled reports acknowledge TLA’s sources for funding for these studies, and in the case of Lake Bellaire, we included a map showing both our Summer Intern’s findings and Freshwater Solution’s parasite findings.
