The Board of Directors of the Three Lakes Association (TLA) is pleased to announce Marina Friend has been named its new Executive Director. Friend brings a wealth of experience to her new role having extensive sales, marketing and public relations experience with organizations throughout northern Michigan as well as owning her own business in the Elk Rapids area. Her knowledge of the geographic area, the people who live here and those that visit will be invaluable to the success of TLA’s overall mission.

Moving forward, Marina will serve a dual role in providing for her clients at her own place of business while serving in this capacity. “Born and raised in northern Michigan has given me a true appreciation of the water that is all around us. My desire is to help further the projects and studies of TLA as well as educate future generations to care for our lakes and streams and their inhabitants. I look forward to working with the Board and its members to accomplish some great things!”
